About Us
Our Story
We began Misty Ridge Farm in 2021, using centennial family farmland. We were both suffering from health issues and were looking for a better way of living. As we researched areas to improve, we repeatedly saw that our food is a big issue with health problems in this country. We made the decision to homestead and see where that lead us. We saw a noticeable improvement in our health and realized that small farmers are a huge need in the communities. Once again we began to research farming practices and decided we would use the most natural techniques as possible for raising our animals. We are now in our marketing and customer base establishment phase. Little did we know that people would literally be seeking us out for a better lifestyle.
Cost Share Grant Winners
We are proud to share that we were the winners of the Cost Share Grant! We were awarded this honor by the Joco Grows Agriculture Marketing Committee.
